Lee County supervisors will meet again July 23. That’s District 2 Supervisor Bobby Smith’s birthday. Not sure what will be on the agenda that day. Will update as we find out.

Sheriff Johnson’s budget
It shouldn’t surprise anybody that the sheriff’s budget is up. Everything costs more. He wants to add four deputies and cars and guns to cover them.
One thing about Johnson — he’s obsessive about keeping his budget in line. He’s never gone over, and that’s a positive.
